Jaclyn Del Vacchio | Linocut Printmaking, Pen and Ink Watercolor Illustrator | J. Del Vacchio Prints

Printmaking Process

I primarily work in linocuts, a relief printmaking process. Though I have worked in many mediums, this style of printmaking for me is something that I have a deep connection with. The process starts off with a sketch that is then carved into a plate, prepared and inked and then burnished and printed.

My work showcases my background in graphic design by creating compositions with strong contrasts. From sketch, to concept, to product - my prints encompass the work of a hundred dreams and drawings.

About Me

Returning to my creative roots after a twenty-year pause has been an inspiring journey. I work with traditional techniques and a personal, expressive style to create prints and watercolor studies.

With a professional background in graphic design and over a decade of experience in early childhood education and art instruction across both private and public settings, I now channel these combined experiences into my artistic practice at J. Del Vacchio Prints. This includes hand-pulled linocuts for fine art prints, cards, reusable bags, and home decor, with annual markets.

Turning Prints into Everyday Beauty

Handcarved and handprinted treasures for gifts and home. Custom commissions bring your vision to life and blending nature's inspiration with modern function.

May my work be lanterns
