Art Classes

Collage Color Lab
Students will explore composition and color by creating a collage while working from a photographic reference image. Focusing on shadows, midtones, and highlights, they will cut and arrange flat shapes of colored paper—no drawing or paint—to build form and depth. By developing a custom paper color palette, students will create a modern, mosaic-like piece that emphasizes value and color relationships.

Printmaking Lab
Dive into the exciting world of printmaking! Students will experiment with relief printmaking techniques to create bold, layered artwork from simple materials. You will build skills in carving, inking, and pressing while exploring composition and texture.
This class is perfect for sparking creativity and producing multiples you’re proud to share—all skill levels welcome!

Self Art Edit
Transform your inner critic into a guiding voice that helps rather than hinders. In this class you will learn to approach your own artwork with fresh eyes, mastering self-editing techniques that elevate composition and skills without self-doubt. Bring a past project, a picture of your artwork or something new you wish to create or reflect on along with a sketchbook. This intermediate course equips you to see and refine your work constructively, building progress you are proud of. The class is designed for artists ready to level up!

Rooted: Symbolic Tree Print
Discover the process of scratching, inking, and hand-printing your own stylized tree-inspired artwork. As you create, pause and consider:
What helps me stay rooted during a changing season? Create a simple black-and-white tree print that reflects your own sense of growth, rest, strength, or change.
Please note: We will be using beginner-friendly carving tools. Safe tool use will be demonstrated at the start of class. Participants should feel comfortable using small, sharp tools and following safety guidance throughout the workshop.
